HOW TO USE
How to use
- Place the strainer across the rim of your cup or teapot.
- Add your tea leaves directly into the bamboo strainer.
- Pour hot water over the leaves and allow your tea to steep according to the tea's recommended brewing time.
- Remove the strainer once your tea has finished brewing.
- Enjoy your tea.
For larger leaves or teas that need plenty of room to unfurl, gently spread the leaves across the strainer rather than packing them together.
Caring for your bamboo strainer
Bamboo is a natural material, so a little care will help your strainer stay beautiful for longer.
- Rinse with clean water after each use.
- Gently remove any remaining tea leaves.
- Allow the strainer to air dry completely before storing.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- Avoid soaking the strainer for prolonged periods.
- Do not place it in the dishwasher.
- Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or abrasive cleaning products.
- Avoid exposing it to prolonged direct sunlight or excessive heat.
Tip: Occasionally wipe the bamboo with a clean, damp cloth and allow it to dry naturally. Avoid storing it while it is still damp, as prolonged moisture can cause natural bamboo to deteriorate.
